Al Serridge
Genesee Valley Sports Center welcomes Al Serridge to our staff of fitness trainers as the premier Boot Camp instructor in Michigan for the 2010 season.
Al Serridge, a former U.S. Marine and police officer, has been committed to staying fit and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. For thirty years Al has competed in eleven triathlons and plans to continue with another event in 2011. Recognized by the U.S. Marine Corps for being in the top 10 percent of U.S. Marine Corps standards on physical fitness (20 pull-ups, 80 sit-ups in one minute and 5k in under 18 minutes), Al achieved the Marine Corps highest fitness scores twelve consecutive times in six years.
Al is a man of intense focus, desire and energy. With more than thirty years of hard-core police, military and fitness training his experience shows in his training programs. He is one of Michigan’s foremost leaders in fitness and motivation. Using the same no-nonsense approach he applies to his life, Al brings a streamlined and commonsense philosophy to fitness training for all levels. From aspiring professional athletes to weekend warriors and corporate clients, he uses his unique motivational techniques to help people attain the highest levels of fitness. You won’t find trendy gadgets in his sessions, but you’ll find a man who motives the old fashioned way- he pushes HARD!
As a fitness consultant, Al is upbeat, positive and encouraging. He customizes each program based upon his client’s individual needs and objectives. No two workouts are ever the same, and they’re kept interesting, challenging and fun. Al has been conducting Boot Camp style programs for thirty years. He is known for his grueling abdominal routines and creative strength workouts.
We’d like to invite all of our clients to talk with Al about his personal training and Boot Camp classes. If you’re interested in working with him, come and see him today.
