Born in Cairo, Egypt to a large family, Momen Graduated from Helwan University in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in physical education with a focus on tennis.
Momen has worked as a Tennis coach in several top clubs in Egypt, including the well-known J.C. Ferrero. He coached the Egyptian national team in the Junior Davis cup held in Spain.
in 2006, Momen moved to the United States where he started working at GVSC. Momen has worked as a coach for both the Kearsley and Carman Ainsworth school districts and at Warwick hills country club. Momen has made a name for himself at the GVSC with his unique techniques.
In his personal life momen enjoys spending time with his wife, young son and their dog.
